THE NEED

At SYNAPSE we wanted to give our clients something natural that would speed up the healing process in their new piercings & keep them clean.

We were also being asked to solve problems caused by bad aftercare advice, neglect and general abuse on existing piercings. There was nothing on the market that fitted our needs & we didn't want to fill our jewellery retail space with a large range of aftercare & healing products that were not very effective. We consulted with naturopaths and together we formulated our Healing Serum.

THE PRODUCT

SYNAPSE Healing Serum is formulated from organic herbal extracts. It is a concentrated solution of herbal tinctures that are naturopathic in origin. We don't believe pouring or spraying chemicals into a new piercing will help it to heal.

SYNAPSE Healing Serum is very gentle on the skin and in complete sympathy with the body's own healing process. It has been shown that bacteria will not multiply in SYNAPSE Healing Serum solution. It has both antiseptic & antibiotic properties. We have found it far more effective than tea tree oil.

Applied in a weak solution with sterile water & flooded into the piercing, the serum leaves a micro-fine coating on the inside of the piercing walls. This protects them & promotes rapid growth of new tissue within the piercing, drastically shortening healing times & therefore the risk of infection.

IT'S USES

We recommend SYNAPSE Healing Serum for aftercare use with all new piercings except oral, and for piercings that have been torn for quick repair of tissue. It can help with weeping and soreness in established piercings. Used neat for a limited period it will also help reduce the swelling and soreness caused by mild infections.

In fact it's your emergency repair kit for all abused piercings.

N.B Used neat the serum also helps stop spots and stops mosquito bites itching preventing infection. SYNAPSE Healing Serum has been tested in Borneo and proved to be extremely effective in promoting healing in wounds and bites which are notoriously hard to heal in a hot, wet & tropical environment.

Even indigenous people were asking to use serum on their children's cuts & grazes !
